REET 2025 Notification – Overview
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the much-awaited REET 2025 notification. Aspiring candidates can apply online from December 16, 2024, to January 15, 2025. The exam will take place on February 27, 2025.
This eligibility test, conducted by RBSE Ajmer, is a mandatory qualification for becoming a government school teacher in Rajasthan. Exam Structure and Important Changes
- Level 1 (Primary Teachers – Classes 1-5):
Subjects: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies.
Marks: 30 marks each, totaling 150 marks. - Level 2 (Upper Primary Teachers – Classes 6-8):
Subjects: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics & Science/Social Studies.
Marks: 30 marks each for general subjects; 60 marks for specialized subjects.
This year introduces a 5th option for unanswered questions. Candidates must select this option if they choose not to answer. Failure to do so may result in negative marking or even disqualification if more than 10% of the questions are left unanswered without selecting the 5th option.
Application Fees
- ₹550 for Level 1 or Level 2 (new candidates).
- ₹750 for candidates applying for both levels.
